This report highlights State mental health agency (SMHA) controlled expenditures and funding sources in FY 2019 and trends in expenditures and funding from FY 2001 to FY 2019. The report details trends in overall SMHA expenditures as well as expenditures for community-based mental health services and state psychiatric hospital expenditures.
